It is not easy to describe what it feels like to be round campus. Some may say “it’s like in the movies”, others just wish they would never have to come back home, as they love it. For me, let’s just say that St Joseph’s University is the perfect place to be in.
Living in Rashford Hall, our residence, makes everything look as if it was nearby. There is a Starbucks coffee shop 1 block away, a 7eleven mini-market just about some meters from your doorstep, and it is only 3 blocks away from the ELS building, where classes are held. I guess I could go on with many other good things about this place. Being so close to everything you need is perfect because you feel free to do lots of things safely, like going to the library, to church, or just to have a soda at ”The Perch”, the spacious students´ club behind the soccer field.
But having everything close by is not the most important thing about “St Jo”. In my opinion what makes St. Joseph’s campus so special is how beautiful things are, such as its architecture, or its streets lined with trees and gorgeous lights at night.
With not many other things to say, I would like to express my feelings towards this magical place. I believe there is no other place like that, making you feel like the “american university student” while taking a walk with your mates under the snow, which in fact makes this great place look better. |
