¿Cómo no vas a hablar inglés? si la mitad de las cosas están escritas en inglés, en los lugares de liquidación dice “sale” . Yo hablo bien inglés porque nací en la comunidad británica, en la Patagonia austral, en la década del '30, donde había más banderas inglesas que argentinas. Si no hablabas inglés no comías. Iba a la escuela y los compañeritos me invitaban a su casa y tomábamos el té, si pedía “manteca por favor” me contestaban “butter, please”. Esa era la mejor manera de aprender un idioma: por hambre.
