| A “pet” a day keeps the
doctor away |

Recent studies from the
University of Melbourne, Australia, have shown that people
who have pets are healthier than the ones who don't. These
studies have revealed that the people who enjoy the company
of their pets seldom visit the doctor's office,
whereas the people who live alone are frequently complaining
about different pains and disorders.
People who love their pets like to spend quality time with
them. They hold play sessions with their buddies, they allow
them to run freely or take them for long walks, which is an
excellent de-stressor exercise, for the pet and for the master.
Instead of staying at home watching TV, you will enjoy being
in touch with nature in the company of a loyal friend. Besides,
if one day you feel like snoozing on the
couch, your pet will pester you, horsing
around while wagging its tail, until
you remember that it's time for a healthier choice.
Some people may say that having a pet is somewhat pricey
but frequent visits to the doctor and stressful walks to the
drugstore to buy pills are more expensive
and they aren't that fun. It has been proved that having a
pet specially those which go in for great displays
of affection helps you not only save money but lead
a healthier life.
If you are thinking about gifts for Christmas , and you want
to make someone happy, … why not giving out a bit of
health? THIS CHRISTMAS, GIVE A PUPPY AS A GIFT!! |
