Smoking isn't only a habit

Smoking isn't only a habit ; it's also an addiction. When you start smoking, you depend on the cigarette. Nicotine, a type of drug like cocaine or heroine, is responsible for this. Young boys and girls think that smoking makes them look cool, sexy, beautiful and mature. They start smoking and convince their friends to do so. Tobacco is the cause of many illnesses and mortality. Tobacco kills you. The nicotine creates physical dependence.

How to give up smoking:
1. Take only one cigarette an hour. Then gradually prolong this time.
2. Leave the cigarettes away from your view.
3. Change to a trademark you don't like.
4. Start practicing some sports.
5. Tell your friends your decision to stop smoking.
6. If you can stay one day without smoking, you can do it for two days.
7. Save the money you spend on tobacco and give yourself a gift.
8. If you can't tolerate it and you smoke one cigarette, don't worry. Some people have to try many times until giving it up.
