Many people
have different ways in which to relax, keep healthy and
have fun. For me, however, yoga does all this and much
more. It helps me practice mental discipline but , at
the same time, it helps me expand both my mental and spiritual
awareness. Because of this, yoga is a very important part
of my life.
I have been practicing yoga for about two years. I have
tried both Hatha and Bikram yoga. I must say that Bikram
is the best one for me. It is practiced in a 95 degrees
room with humidity and together with fifteen other people.
The sweat dripping off our body feels like your sins being
cleansed as the music acts as your guide to your best
self.
My yoga practice is an essential part of my existence
as it helps tremendously in keeping me healthy and sane.
It is both a meditation practice and a cardiovascular
workout.
Coming from India, I believe that it is the best import
in our society!
