Working vs. studying after secondary school
by Rosario Baccheschi

Some people may tell you that working is very important when you finish secondary school. Some of them will even tell you that studying is useless because you cannot earn money while you are studying at university. When you finish school, you have to make a decision: studying or working.

The main advantage of studying after school is being able to study the career you like and when you get your degree, getting the jobs you would not get in any other way.  Moreover, you can also learn a lot about adult responsibility and you can get life lessons that will last forever.

On the other hand, sometimes studying after school will not give you the experience that working will. Another disadvantage is that it might be harder to find a good job when you are about thirty and you have no working experience.

In my opinion, studying is the best choice. You can work and study at the same time and you will get the best of both things. However, I believe that it is not a bad idea to work instead of studying. If you need money, you should do it.
