Favorite extreme sports I
by Ana Laura Regusci
ICA Student Level 3
My favorite extreme sport is kayaking. I have been practicing this sport for two years.

To practice this sport I need special equipment. I need a paddle, a helmet, a life jacket and goggles.

I learned this sport in Mar del Plata, when I was ten years old, at a beach in Puerto Cardiel. My father practices kayaking so he taught me. Every summer we go to the beach and we practice and I have a very nice moment with my father. He has a kayak and last year, he gave me one with all the necessary equipment I need.

He has helped me a lot because I love kayaking and it's good for my health. The drawback of this sport is when a wave comes and I fall out of the kayak.

My favorite extreme sport is scuba diving because I think it's exciting and strange. I have been practicing scuba diving since I was seven years old.

To practice scuba diving you need flippers, goggles, an air tank and a face mask. I learned scuba diving in Rio de Janeiro and my uncle taught me how to do it. Now I live in Ibiza and I can practice it everyday in the summer.

I think it's a very good sport to practice because you are in touch with nature and you see beautiful things like fish of different colors. It helped me a lot because I'm very strong and I can swim very fast

My favorite extreme sport is white water rafting because it's fun. I have been doing it since I went to San Rafael, Mendoza. It's an extreme sport, it's very dangerous. That is why we have to use a helmet, a life jacket and a paddle.

I remember that my father fell of the boat one day. I was worried because there were a lot of rocks. A man helped my father and I was very scared. I will never forget this accident.

Every summer I go to Mendoza to practice this sport because in Mar del Plata there are not nice rivers. I think it's a good sport because it makes you strong. I learned this sport when I was ten years old and I love it
