Downtown & the Clock Tower
Climb to the top of the clock tower and take in a bird´s eye view of the town. In the downtown area you'll find everything you might need including banks, cafes, and lots of shops around the main square. Don't miss the museum of Nature Science near the park, nor the park itself.
Valle de la Luna
This is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Talampaya park. It's an important and pretty famous geological site with unique relief formations created by the erosion of wind and rain, combined with spectacular colours which will make you wish you brought along a bigger memory chip for your camera, or an extra roll of film if you're the more traditional sort.
Lago de Ullum
Enjoy the sunset in the Andes mountains from the dam. Relax, swim, or go for a walk or if you're the more adventurous sort dive down from the walls. It's 20 km from city centre.
Cavas de Zonda
Explore the Cavas de Zonda where champagne is produced. There are numerous paths to climb and views to enjoy.
Santiago Graffigna Winery
Ask for a flyer and directions. Bus number 12-A on Libertador avenue. It´s free and a really good museum.
